We are ADAPT Texas, a student-led organization at The University of Texas at Austin committed to supporting children with disabilities through engineering, advocacy, and community outreach. Our mission is to design and build custom assistive technology from adapted toys to prosthetic devices that empowers kids, promotes accessibility, and celebrates the families who push for change for their loved ones. This will be assisted through your donations that goes towards our 4 teams, member incentives, workshops, socials, and transportation.
We currently have 3 ongoing hands-on projects:
- Ride-On Car Project: Modified ride-on cars controlled by buttons or joysticks for kids with limited mobility.

- Toys-for-All Project: 3D-printed toys and attachments designed for kids with fine motor challenges

- Universal Prosthetic Project: Low-cost modular motorized prosthetic hands designed for growing children

1 ongoing advocacy project:
- Advocacy and Awareness: Creates a safe community at UT Austin for those with disabilities and promotes accessibility to families on simple adapting steps.
