The Texas Ice Hockey Club is a student-run organization proudly representing The University of Texas at Austin in competitive collegiate hockey. As a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), our team travels across the nation to face off against other university club teams. Our players work tirelessly to uphold UTβs tradition of excellence, both on and off the ice.
Many of our players rely on club dues to cover essential expenses, and your generous donations directly reduce these costs, making participation more affordable. Beyond easing the burden on individual members, your support helps fund critical operational needs, including:
- Travel Expenses β From gas and lodging to tournament registration fees, away games require significant resources. Your donation helps ensure our team can compete without financial strain.
- Ice Time & Facility Rentals β Securing practice and game slots at local rinks is costly but essential for player development and preparation.
- Equipment & Uniforms β High-quality gear ensures player safety and team cohesion, but sticks, skates, and jerseys come at a price.
- League Dues & Officiating Fees β Membership in the ACHA and referee costs are necessary to maintain our competitive standing.
