Here at Texas Wushu, we train, learn, and grow as a community while engaging in Wushu, or Chinese martial arts (Wu means martial, and shu means the art of). Wushu is a highly structured performance art that draws from many traditional Chinese martial art styles and is practiced by millions around the world. We welcome everyone, regardless of experience level. There are weekly practices to teach a variety of forms, weapons, and other kung fu fundamentals. We also perform demonstrations for several on- and off-campus events throughout the year, and compete at regional and national competitions. We host frequent social events in addition to practices to maintain our friendly social atmosphere.
We are raising money to support our members in buying equipment and attending regional and national competitions. Your gift will help many of our members afford proper equipment and compete in competitions that would normally be inaccessible.
