We are a group of students invested in cultivating the most rewarding environment and experience for members of The Longhorn Band by way of service for both its members and the community through music.
Our organization organizes a number of activities from organizing game day food, and snacks for every member of the Longhorn Band (KKY), providing quick medical assistant for mild symptoms every time we meet for games or rehearsal (TBS), to setting up speakers, bringing gear, doing both music and other forms of community service around the Austin community, assisting the New Member transition into University for new members of the band (LHBSA), running the biggest zero waste program at the University with game day composting, and offering every member of the Longhorn Band resources to support their academic, social, and personal success.
All funds gained from this campaign will be used to directly serve the members of the Longhorn Band in a variety of ways. LHBSA is currently trying to bring in professional development resources to members.
