Support the Little Longhorns of UT Elementary!
At The University of Texas Elementary School (UT Elementary), we believe in nurturing the whole child through our Margin of Excellence Programs. These programs—Music, Spanish, and STEAM—are more than just additional classes; they are the foundation of our students' future success.
Music: Many of our students discover a passion for music through our comprehensive music program. Every student participates in Music education. Beginning in 2nd grade, students learn to play the violin. In 4th and 5th grade, students also learn music production. This early exposure often leads them to continue playing instruments in high school and college, enriching their lives and academic experiences. The discipline and creativity they develop through music translates into other areas of their education.

Spanish: Learning Spanish at a young age provides our students with a solid foundation for second language acquisition and gives them an advantage for for their classes in middle and high school. This not only helps them become proficient in Spanish but also makes it easier for them to learn additional languages, including coding languages. The cognitive benefits of bilingualism and multilingualism are well-documented, and our students are living proof of these advantages.

STEAM: Our Science Technology Engineering Art & Math program ignites a love for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. As a result, our graduates frequently pursue STEM-related fields in college and enter higher education with a strong foundation, ready to tackle complex problems and innovate in their chosen fields.

Our Margin of Excellence Programs are not just about enhancing academic performance; they are about shaping well-rounded individuals who are prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the future. By supporting these programs, you are investing in the success of our students, helping them to achieve their full potential and make a positive impact on the world.
