These extraordinary international students and scholars bring unique perspectives, enriching our academic environment and making UT Austin a leader in global engagement. International students make significant contributions to cutting-edge research and innovation, helping Texas maintain its leadership in science and technology. Their presence also bolsters the local economy, contributing $2.5 billion and supporting over 22,000 jobs annually.
