Pathways for Law Students
Who We Are
The Center for Women in Law is a national resource and champion for women lawyers generating lasting change within the legal profession. We create opportunities to empower lawyers to confidently build, navigate and advance their legal careers. Integrity, information, influence and investment breathe life into our mission and drive our work and programs.

What We're Fundraising For
The Center for Women in Law provides meaningful programs for every age and stage of lawyer, from law students to first-year associates, mid-career through retirement. The Center presents events and initiatives aimed at empowering and educating attorneys with tools to advance their careers and create success through all phases of their legal work.
Pathways for Law Students is a CWIL keystone program at Texas Law. The Pathways Series is an in-person series that empowers all law students to learn more about different legal careers and engage with legal professionals, ranging from non-profit to corporate, boutique firms to Big Law, government service to education. The Center's program provides students exposure to a variety of occupations in the legal field, while also providing mentorship and networking opportunities as they chart their future courses. The series has included sessions on legal careers in complex litigation, finance, health care, trial law, and non-profit and government work. Pathways also allows accomplished lawyers an opportunity to give back and mentor the next generation.
