Texas Trap and Skeet (TXTS) is a student-run sport club at the University of Texas at Austin. TXTS operates under the Division of Recreational Sports, a sub-division of Student Affairs. Our mission is to educate, support, and bring together both casual and competitive shotgun athletes. Through careful instruction and steady coaching, we produce safe and successful shooters. Our traveling team competes at the local, state, and national levels, consistently achieving high scores across three shotgun disciplines (American Trap, American Skeet, and Sporting Clays).
Shotgun sports can be costly, and the financial barrier can be tough for many of our members. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and donors, we've been able to partially cover expenses for ammunition, targets, and competitions for members. By participating in our fundraiser, you can help us make shotgun sports more accessible and elevate our members' abilities.
Your gift to Texas Trap and Skeet directly helps alleviate expenses our team faces. Competitive shooting requires significant resources, and donor support ensures that our members can continue to train and compete at the highest level without financial hardships. Contributions help cover tournament entry fees, equipment maintenance, and travel expenses, allowing more students to represent The University of Texas at regional and national competitions. Your generosity makes it possible for our team to grow, compete, and excel while reducing the financial burden on our student-athletes.
