Texas Taekwondo is the largest martial arts and RecSports club at The University of Texas at Austin, dedicated to the practice of WT (Kukkiwon) Taekwondo. As a club, we embrace the essence of Taekwondo—"the way of kicking and punching"—through two primary disciplines: Poomsae, a series of structured forms that showcase technique and precision, and Olympic-style sparring (Kyorugi), a dynamic and competitive combat sport.
Open to all experience levels, from beginners to USA national team athletes, Texas Taekwondo provides a supportive and inclusive community where members can grow, train and achieve their goals. Whether refining skills, competing at the highest levels, or simply staying active, our club empowers individuals while collectively striving for excellence.
Texas Taekwondo is raising funds to support our growing program and maintain our tradition of excellence. We strive to provide high-quality training and competition opportunities for athletes of all levels.
Your contributions directly impact our ability to operate at a high level, covering essential expenses such as training equipment, athlete gear, and specialized coaching. Most importantly, your support helps us send as many athletes as possible to the National Collegiate Taekwondo Championships each spring by subsidizing travel expenses, accommodations, and tournament fees.
