TEXAS CREW
We are a collegiate club sport at the University of Texas at Austin, led by head coaches Sean McKenna and Derek Snyder. The people that compose our team are dedicated, hardworking, competitive, and active. Our practices are 2 hours long, and it requires individuals that are organized and punctual. Rowing leads to an amelioration of interpersonal teamwork and communication.
Each year, we set our sights high. Our league, the American Collegiate Rowing Association (ACRA), is the world's largest and fastest-growing rowing association with 136 current colleges and universities. Last year, we took home gold in the Men's Novice 4 event at ACRA, along with many silvers and bronzes, and we are striving for even more regalia this year. In 2024, the varsity women's four took home a fifth place medallion at Head of the Charles, the most world-renowned regatta. Now we are prepping and training for ACRA 2025, hoping to bring Texas even more hardware.

We rely heavily on fundraising efforts to keep the team afloat. We work hard to keep our name at the top, and we cannot do it alone. With your financial support, we can bring new members into our sport, upgrade and repair equipment, race and ensure a student-athlete experience that will be cherished for a lifetime.

We are entirely student-run, except for coaching. This means that equipment, travel, financing, and transportation are all scheduled and managed by UT students, and the biggest way Texas Crew operates successfully is from donations. Furthermore, we are building a legacy. Texas Crew was established in 1969, and thus by donating you are contributing to the long-term success and growth of the rowing program.
With your donation, you are supporting team members by offsetting our regatta expenses, which makes the sport more accessible to everyone. Contributions help Texas Crew continue to provide men and women at the University of Texas at Austin the best opportunity to access the sport of rowing. When you donate, you are investing in the future of this team.
