Educating Future Leaders in AI & Astronomy: Support Student Research
We are fundraising to support undergraduate students in AI-driven astronomy research through paid summer internships! Your support will sponsor students to work with CosmicAI members (comprised of leading experts in AI and astronomy at top universities, including UT Austin) to carry out independent research projects at the intersection of AI/machine learning and astronomy. These future scholars will not only gain hands-on experience but will also have the opportunity to showcase their work at the Cosmic Horizons AI-Astronomy conference.
The research internships will provide hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving area of AI/ML and equip students with essential skills needed for success in graduate school or industry. These opportunities will help students build relationships with professional mentors, apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings, and prepare for their future careers.
