Who We Are:
The UT Humanities Institute (HI)is the central hub for humanities-centered research at The University of Texas at Austin. We develop, support, showcase, and sustain research for faculty, students, and staff. HI embraces a broad understanding of the humanities and their potential, engaging in diverse research modes with partners from all levels and sectors of the university and the community. We support research across the humanities and through our distinct initiatives: AI+Science and Culture (AISCI), Digital Humanities (IDH), and the Intersectional Humanities Initiative (IHI). We are dedicated to expanding the pathways for humanities research and careers and helping humanities researchers find funding and support opportunities for their projects.
What Weβre Fundraising For:
We are raising funds to support undergraduate student participation in research opportunities through the Faculty-Student Research Partnership Program (FSRP). Hosted by The Humanities Institute within the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at Austin, the FSRP offers faculty and students the unique opportunity to collaborate on humanities projects. Our program aims to foster meaningful collaborations between faculty and students, advance research, and enhance skills. We welcome collaborations across all humanities disciplines and encourage exploring these rewarding partnerships.
Impact of Your Gift:
Your donation will profoundly impact the lives of students and the broader university community. By supporting the FSRP, you enable:
- Distinguished faculty members actively engage in the FSRP, using their expertise and passion to guide students through exciting projects.
- Students work closely with faculty mentors on mutually beneficial research, developing valuable skills and contributing to cutting-edge academic work.
Thank you for considering a donation to the UT Humanities Institute. Your generosity helps us cultivate a vibrant and supportive research environment.
