Longhorn Racing is the University of Texas at Austin’s premier student-led engineering organization, building three high-performance vehicles—Electric, Solar, and Combustion—for international collegiate competitions. Our team of 300+ students across 15+ majors gains real-world experience in engineering, business, and project management by fully designing, manufacturing, and racing our cars each year.
This HornRaiser campaign supports our 2025–2026 season with a critical focus on safety materials and facilities access that make our work possible. With increased membership and ambitious goals across all three teams, we’re seeking community support to keep our workspace safe, efficient, and accessible to every student who steps into the garage.
