Angela Standridge, M.A., CCC-SLP, ATP, Director, Texas Technology Access Program is a passionate about using technology to enable Texans with disabilities to meet their educational, vocational, and personal potential. She is a speech language pathologist and assistive technology specialist with over 35 years’ experience in assistive technology with an emphasis in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She has worked in public schools, private industry, private practice, rehabilitation, and as an education service center specialist. She is the current chair of the Edwin and Esther Prentke AAC Distinguished Lecture Award sponsored by the PRC-Saltillo Company, and hosted by the Assistive Technology Industry Association. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Assistive Technology Act Programs (ATAP).
Dr. Anita L. Swanson is a Project Director at Texas Technology Access Program. She brings experience as a practitioner and professor of music therapy. Dr. Swanson has served a wide range of people, utilizing AT with people on the autism spectrum, persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities, and adults with neurological challenges. Dr. Swanson has published in several journals and frequently presents across the US and internationally.
