Hello! We are Projects for Underserved Communities (PUC) Team Costa Rica 2025-2026! We are eight students who are planning to develop and implement a humanitarian engineering project for a community in Costa Rica. We are partnering with Siempre Amigos in Bejuco, Costa Rica. Our team will create a modern computer lab that addresses the community's need for a space to foster a learning environment for the students. We seek to create a mutually beneficial experience where we practice hands-on skills that encourage Bejuco's growth.

This will be the sixth year that PUC is working with Siempre Amigos. We are excited to continue our partnership with them and implement this computer lab. Over the past few years, we have implemented various projects in the Lorena Village that have promoted community enagement and improved our operations. Initiatives such as the establishment of a recycling center and community kiosk have brought residents together, fostering a stronger sense of community and collaboration. This year, our project is designed to empower the community by creating educational opportunities for residents in Bejuco.
